The Approaches

I have a client-centred approach, so wish to understand the situation from the perspective of the person, couple and/or family who are seeking the service.

I then use an integrated therapeutic approach to work on the issues as identified by the client/s, and as outlined in the referral letter of the client/s referring professional.

The therapies I use include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Schema-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and the 'systemic' therapies (that is, those used in couple and family work).

Sessions generally last for up to 1 hour in a face-to-face setting, or via the internet. However, the time needed can vary according to circumstances, and there is flexibility to accommodate this.
